Sunday was a fun day! Instead of being filled with tasks and chores (that was all accomplished Saturday) it was loaded with plenty of Outdoor time- Addison loved that- and MiMi's birthday party at MeeMaw's house.
She had a blast playing outside and swinging on the swing. She would show me the flowers in the grass and then pick the flowers off of Nonna's plants (not great for the plant but it entertains her- Poppa taught her, not me)!
Then came time to travel up the road for MiMi's birthday. We went to MeeMaw's house where she had fixed us all a wonderful dinner and cake for MiMi's birthday. This was the first birthday party Addison has been to that she can actually comprehend what was going on- but you wouldn't know it because she acted like she had been to HUNDREDS! She licked the whip cream off of the candles (Pops however had to keep her from biting the candle which was very tricky!) she ate cake and opened all of MiMi's presents! Poor MiMi, but she was too cute doing it, she didn't want the gift she just wanted to open it!
"Mom, do you have to take pictures right now?"
"Don't take it out! It tastes good- let me chew!!!"
