Yesterday's are like looking in a rear view mirror at something getting farther and farther away as you continue to drive at full speed
Which was incredibly ironic because as I thought that I looked up into my mirror and I saw my 7lb 9oz bundle of joy with her legs crossed, sunglasses on, & her play telephone up to her ear! I had to pull over and I crossed my fingers that she would continue about what she was doing so I could capture the picture.
*SNAP*a memory of yesterday that makes it seem not so far away.
Every day she watches me and everything I do- she learns my movements, reactions, words, & actions and copies them. My job as a mother is becoming so much clearer every day as she grows up.
It is like the game Mirror we played when I was younger- watch the person in front of you and mirror their actions. I am so blessed to have such a beautiful mirror partner for the rest of my life, and I can only hope I can be the best mirror partner for her that God guides me to be. As this game goes on I might think that I am leading but towards the end I will find that I learned more from her than she ever learned from me!
